Guidelines for Recruitment of Guest Assistant Professor and Guest Lab Assistant/Lab Instructor
The following guidelines shall be followed for the recruitment process of Guest Assistant Professors and Guest Lab Assistants/Lab Instructors.
A. Guest Assistant Professor
- A written examination may be conducted followed by Interview depending on the number of candidates.
- Academic marks shall be added as per the norms/guidelines of the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education (DSTTE), Government of Bihar.
- Experience marks shall be awarded only for regular or contractual teaching experience in institutions under DSTTE, Government of Bihar. Experience shall be awarded at 2 marks per completed year, subject to a maximum limit as prescribed by the applicable norms.
B. Guest Lab Assistant / Lab Instructor
- Candidates shall be required to demonstrate their knowledge and handling of laboratory equipment and practical skills relevant to the concerned discipline.
- The demonstration shall be followed by a personal interview. The final selection shall be based on the performance in the demonstration and interview, as per the selection committee’s assessment.
C. Documents to be Produced
All candidates must bring the following documents at the time of reporting:
- Two copy of Filled Application form , Given in Sl. No 2 or 3 in the following website link https://www.gecvaishali.ac.in/guestfaculty/
- Updated Resume – one copy
- All original academic and professional certificates/documents.
- Original experience certificate(s), wherever applicable.
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- A valid government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/PAN Card/Driving Licence, etc.).
D. General Instructions
- Candidates must report at the venue as per the scheduled reporting time. Interview may be proceed to next day based on no of candidates.
- Failure to produce original documents may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
- The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding in all matters related to the recruitment process.
- The college reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if required, in accordance with DSTTE/BTSC norms.
