About Electronics & Communication Engineering (ACT)
Established in 2023, the Department of Advanced Communication Technology (ACT) is dedicated to imparting quality education and fostering innovation in the rapidly evolving field of communication engineering. The department offers a B.Tech programme in Advanced Communication Technology with an annual intake of 60 students and an M.Tech programme in Advanced Communication Technology with an annual intake of 18 students. The curriculum emphasises cutting-edge technologies including 5G/6G communications, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Wireless Communication, Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, and Next-Generation Communication Networks. With a team of dedicated faculty members, well-equipped laboratories, and modern software tools, the department provides an excellent environment for academic excellence, research, innovation, and industry-oriented learning.
